Sport has a prominent place in society, within and beyond the borders of the United States. Whether one’s interests lie in professional sports, college or high school sports, working with elite amateur athletes, managing sport in community programs, working in the corporate sector, sport for development , or other settings, acquiring and developing the proper knowledge, skills, and abilities is essential.
The Department of Sport Management at Florida State University prepares students to work in the diverse sport industry, related service organizations, and academic institutions.
